Sudan has proved that it will always remain a model for firm steadfastness as it emerges from crises stronger than before. Despite the atrocious act perpetrated by the rebel Khalil Ibrahim supported by the Chadian regime and using mercenary elements the bulk of which belong to the Chadian army,
the patriotic stands of the national forces depicted a cohesive Sudan which will not forfeit or bargain over its national security and the stability of its population.
All the statements of the national alignment parties have in concert denounced this heinous act spurred by their sense of national responsibility and allegiance.
Our sincere appreciation and gratitude is extended to our brave regular forces who have proved that subversive plots of mercenary traitors never realize their objectives, reducing the false statements of the mercenary leaders to soap bubbles and ice cubes that thaw at the first ray of sunshine.
While our stalwart regular forces were in staunch configurations destroying to cinders the convoys of aimless invading vehicles, the mercenaries were circulating false allegations in shameless audacity, knowing that they are safe in their havens, wherever these are, heedless of who lives or dies of their own elements and undeterred by pangs of conscience over killing innocent civilians and burning towns and installations which are the property of the citizens of this country.
Salutes to our brave regular forces whose roots are deeply implanted in a land accustomed to self-denial and heroism and to our noble national parties which denounced in extreme terms the criminal act.
Sudan thus sends an unmistakable signal to those craving to undermine its stability and security that it will cut them down like chaff faster than observers or gloaters in its misfortunes would expect.
